Intelligent Instrumentation announces LCD displays with even brighter backlights, and expanded memory options at a lower price.
We've replaced the 300-nit backlight option, with 400-nit LCDs at the same price. These high-quality touchscreens are very clear and bright, for use in high-intensity lighting environments. Compare these to the competition, and you will see that they are clearly superior.
In addition, RAM and Industrially-rated Compact Flash memory upgrades just became a lot more affordable.

Intelligent Instrumentation, Inc. has been purchased from its former parent, Texas Instruments, by longtime managers Rick Daniel, Bob Auman, Paul Liska, and Paul Tobey.
Intelligent Instrumentation was established in 1984 as an independent subsidiary of the former Burr-Brown Corporation which was subsequently purchased by Texas Instruments.
Rick Daniel, President and CEO of III, stated "... Customers can expect the same high level of professionalism and commitment that we've always provided, and should notice no change. This move is a natural for us, as we've always operated as a fiercely independent entity ..."
Dan Goldner, Vice President and Controller of TI's High Performance Analog Division, said "We've been impressed with the way the III people have managed ... with very little intervention from TI and agreed that the management team should take the business totally independent. It's a good move for both companies."
